Kilométrage Charge

If you live more than 40km from Pre en Pail, I'm afraid I will have to ask for a contribution towards travel costs. To ease calculation, I have split the kilométrage charge into bands. For those of you that travel for work, you'll appreciate that the rates are set at about half those allowed by the French tax authorities of 0.568€.

Your appointment confirmation email will advise which band you should select in the form below. The kilométrage charge should be paid along with your deposit.

  • 80 to 120km - 56€
  • 120 to 160km - 80€

We are happy to travel further but for anything over 160km transport costs and expenses are to be agreed before your booking will be accepted but they are likely to also incur accommodation costs as well.

Deposit payment should be made by cheque made payable to Kevan Boitoult and sent to the above address.

Booking terms and conditions

Important: Photoshoots are only available to clients aged eighteen or over. By making a booking and agreeing to these terms, you confirm that all participants are over eighteen or will be by the date of the shoot.

If you are lucky enough to look younger, proof of identification will be requested and a copy kept on file. If we are not satisfied with the proof of age, we may at our sole discretion cancel the shoot. In this event, your deposit and any mileage charges already paid will be forfeit.

Deposit: At the time of booking, a £40 deposit plus any agreed mileage charges are payable to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is due at the start of the shoot. Your deposit covers the shoot and any mileage only. An additional deposit of £50 is due should you opt to include the hire of one of our commercial studio partners.

Cancellation or Rescheduling: Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are running late, please call us as soon as possible and be aware that this may reduce the time available for your shoot.

If you need to reschedule your shoot, please give us as much notice as possible. Ideally, we require a minimum of five working days for rescheduling otherwise your deposit will be forfeit. However, we understand that there are sometimes unavoidable circumstances so we will do whatever we can to try and fill your appointment or make alternative arrangements to avoid loss of deposits where possible.

In the unlikely event that we cannot go ahead with your shoot, you will be offered an alternative date to suit you or a full refund of any monies already paid. NB. Our liability is limited to a full refund of monies paid - We cannot be held liable for any indirect or consequential loss or expenditure.

Please note: In the event that you fail to attend the shoot or should you decide to cancel completely, your deposit will forfeit and it will not be refunded.

Copyright: Under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 , copyright of all images remains with the photographer at all times. As such, any reproduction of the images other than that permitted by the licence terms below is illegal under the act without prior written agreement from us.

Image Licensing: As part of your package, you will have access to a private, password-protected gallery of "web-resolution" images which will carry an analogue watermark of either our logo or identifying text. You may use these how you like but the watermark must not be edited or removed.

If you wish to publish these images elsewhere you may do so. However, with the exception of blurring of faces, distinguishing marks, or identifying features and the application of an analogue watermark, they shall not be altered or manipulated, added to, or have any part deleted without our prior written consent

Use of images by us: We may occasionally wish to use images on our websites or on social media sites. Rest assured, if you have paid for a private shoot we will not use your images without explicit, written consent to do so.

If your shoot is on a "Time for..." basis, you will be asked to sign a model release at the end of the shoot. Any usage restrictions such as privacy concerns, obsuring of faces and distinguishing marks etc. will be agreed and detailed on the release. We will also endeavour to obtain prior consent.
